Trailer for Science Saru's The Colors Within anime film


The trailer for the anime film The Colors Within by Science Saru has been released, expected in Japanese theaters this summer.


On the day of the news of the acquisition of the Science Saru studios by the Japanese giant TOHO [news], is released the trailer of Kimi no Iro (internationally The Colors Within), the new feature film directed by Naoko Yamada (K-ON!, The Heike Story, A Silent Voice), with the story written by Reiko Yoshida (K-ON!, Girls und Panzer, Ride Your Wave, Violet Evergarden) and the music composed by Kensuke Ushio (Space Dandy, A Silent Voice, Liz and the Blue Bird, Chainsaw Man), a film planned and produced by Story Inc..

The story centers on a Totsuko, a high school girl who can see the "colors" of the emotions in people's hearts. She attends a mission school in Nagasaki. In order to keep her friends and family from feeling dark feelings, she worries, reads situations, and even lies to smooth things over. At an antique bookshop in the corner of town, she meets a beautiful woman with an incredibly beautiful color and a music-loving boy trying to put together a band. The story follows these three sensitive people who gather together to play in a band.

With the international premiere of the film expected at Annecy in a few weeks, it will arrive in Japanese theaters on August 30, 2024 . It will be distributed by GKIDS in North America, Latin America, Australia and New Zealand; by Anime Ltd. in Europe; by PLAION Pictures in Italy and Germany.
