New trailer and visual for the anime Mononoke by Kenji Nakamura

The anime Mononoke starring the medicine seller from the 2007 TV series of the same name is ready to land on the big screens. Expected in the summer in Japan, below you will find a new trailer.

Gekijoban Mononoke: Karakasa (this is the full title) arrives in theaters after the 12-episode anime produced by Toei Animation.

Spin-off of the anime Ayakashi - Samurai Horror Tales, follows the medicine seller from the "Bakeneko" story arc. The complete anime has five story arcs, the last of which is titled "Bakeneko".

The film is directed by the anime director Kenji Nakamura but produced by different studios: Twin Engine and EOTA. Among the other artists on the staff we find Kitsuneko Nagata author of the character designs, Yuichi Takahashi director of the animations, Kenichi Shirai director of the 3D scenes and Taku Iwasaki author of the music.

The anime film is expected in Japanese theaters on July 26.
