On the Toonami programming block the new anime Ninja Kamui

A new anime is ready to enrich the archive of the Adult Swim channel. It's titled Ninja Kamui with the premiere expected in a few weeks.

An explosive story of revenge, Ninja Kamui follows a former ninja clan member who is haunted by the brutal murders of his family. Meanwhile, an FBI agent and his rookie partner also work to investigate the murders and uncover a vast global conspiracy.

Revenge and action in a modern swashbuckler that will premiere Saturday, February 10 at midnight on Adult Swim's popular anime/action programming block Toonami and the next day on Max (formerly HBO Max).

The series is directed by Sunghoo Park (God of High School, Jujutsu Kaisen), with character designs drawn by Takashi Okazaki (Afro Samurai) and produced by E&H production and Sola Entertainment.

"Ninja Kamui is a gripping action series about a hero hell-bent on payback. The ninja of old Japan has been reimagined for the near future," said Park. "I hope fans will enjoy the intense fight scenes and the human drama with unique characters".
