The golf manga Rising Impact in anime on Netflix

A new anime series is presented to customers of the well-known Netflix platform. It's titled Rising Impact and has a group of golf players as its protagonists. Info and trailer below.

Based on the manga of the same name by Nakaba Suzuki (author of the award-winning The Seven Deadly Sins) serialized on Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump from 1998 to 2002, the anime series follows the growth of third-grader Gawain Nanaumi as he encounters the sport of golf and competes with his rivals.

It is produced by the Lay-duce animation studio, directed by Hitoshi Nanba (Golden Kamuy, Fate/Grand Order: First Order ), the script by Michihiro Tsuchiya (Bakuman), the characters designed by Studio Durian's Kiyotaka Oshiyama (Chainsaw Man, DEVILMAN crybaby, Space Dandy) and the music composed by Masaru Yokoyama (Yowamushi Pedal, Chihayafuru).

Two seasons of the Rising Impact series are already in production and will be released on Netflix in July 2024 and August 2024 respectively, as the trailer reminds us.
