Three friends and a mysterious creature in the new anime film Fureru

A new anime film expected in 2024 involving the well-known author and director Mari Okada is titled Fureru and is presented with the first promo.

The Super Peace Busters creative team are reuniting again: the director Tatsuyuki Nagai, the author and director Mari Okada and the artist < b>Masayoshi Tanaka for the new original anime film titled Fureru.

The story follows three childhood friends who are connected by a mysterious creature. The film shows the three as young adults in Tokyo.

The film is produced by Aniplex together with Story Inc., made at CloverWorks studios and distributed in Japan by TOHO. The film is directed by Nagai (The Anthem of the Heart, Her Blue Sky), written by Okata and with characters designed by Tanaka.

Scheduled in japanese theaters in fall 2024, here is the first promo and a visual:
