FLCL: Shoegaze - trailer for the new season of the anime

The new season of the anime cult FLCL is ready to return. Below the trailer for FLCL: Shoegaze, its fifth season, and the premiere date.

The Adult Swim block presented the first trailer for FLCL: Shoegaze, the new season of the anime which will begin on September 30 at midnight (actually on October 1st), while on Saturday the third and final episode of the previous series FLCL: Grunge will be broadcast, as reported by Production I.G. USA's Maki Terashima-Furuta, producer of the series.

FLCL: Grunge and FLCL: Shoegaze are the two new seasons of FLCL, with Jason DeMarco, creative director of Toonami and senior vice president of action and anime for WarnerMedia, executive producer of the series and the band The Pillows music producers.

Hitoshi Takekiyo is the director of FLCL: Grunge at MontBlanc Pictures, with the story focusing on three teenagers who graduated from college and started working. The anime is about the feeling of being an adult.

Yutaka Uemura (FLCL Alternative) is the director of FLCL: Shoegaze at Production I.G and NUT, with the story set 10 years after FLCL Alternative and focusing on a high school boy and girl.
