First images of the new Hayao Miyazaki film

The new film produced by Studio Ghibli, a few weeks after its domestic release, is shown with the very first images and the title chosen for the international markets.

The new and eagerly awaited film by the master Hayao Miyazaki, released domestically under the title Kimi-tachi wa Dou Ikiru ka? (literally "How do you live?"), now has an official international title: The Boy and the Heron.

Defined by historic producer Toshio Suzuki as "the most expensive film ever produced in Japan", it was released an unprecedented marketing campaign for which no image or trailer was released in Japan other than a single poster, and after five weeks it totaled over 4 million tickets sold and more than 42 million dollars in domestic box office.
