Animusic Weekend: La Leggenda di Cristalda e Pizzomunno
Animusic, the tour of the world between music and animations of our weekend, today takes us to Italy to listen to an epic story: La Leggenda di Cristalda e Pizzomunno by Max Gazzè.
Trad. The Legend of Cristalda and Pizzomunno, a piece presented at the italian Sanremo Festival 2018, is a romantic story that tells of two lovers, the sailor Pizzomunno and the beautiful Cristalda, whose love is broken by the wrath of the sirens who, in love with and rejected by the boy, kidnap her and drag her into the abyss, while he, desperate for the loss, remains on the shore, petrified by pain and becomes a monolith. However, the two lovers are given the opportunity to meet again every hundred years when, once again human, they can spend a night together.
