Annie Awards - Stop-motion animation triumphs in 2023


One of the most classic techniques adopted in animated cinema is certainly the stop-motion, evocative and still very popular, so much so that it triumphed at the last Annie Awards.


The awards of the animated film and television production industry have been presented, in its 50th edition.

As already widely anticipated, the new feature film by Guillermo del Toro produced by Netflix has triumphed conquering the best statuettes, but we must not forget Marcel the Shell, another stop-motion project that has triumphed as a feature film, the third season of Love Death + Robots and Oni: Thunder God's Tale awarded among Best TV/Media Productions of the Year and Bob's Burgers Best Animated Series.
