Production I.G. makes the first The Klutzy Witch anime

The new anime in production at Japanese studios Production I.G is titled The Klutzy Witch: Fuka and the Dark Witch, coming to theaters in just over a month. Info and trailer below.

The original title is Rakudai Majo: Fuka to Yami no Majo, based on the children's book series of the same name by Satoko Narita (The Klutzy Witch ), film expected in Japanese theaters from March 31st.

The book series is set in a wondrous world with witches and wizards. The story follows the klutzy apprentice witch Fūka when she breaks the seal of a dark witch who once almost destroyed the world.

Takayuki Hamana (The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed By Light) is directing the film at Production I.G studios, Kiyoko Yoshimura wrote the screenplay, while Marumi Sugita drawn the character design.

Here is the trailer that also lets us listen to the song "Tokimeki no Kaze ni Notte" by Honoka Inoue, who also lends her voice to the character of Fuka:
