Aardman, Cartoon Saloon, La Cachette and others x Star Wars: Visions 2
Disney tries to replicate the excellent experiment of Tim Miller and David Fincher (Love Death & Robots) by calling gathered some of the best studios in the world for the second season of Visions.
After the journey among the Japanese studios of the first volume Star Wars: Visions, a series of anthological shorts released on the Disney home streaming platform in September 2021, the studios try again by expanding the range.
In fact, for the production of season 2 the shorts have been commissioned from some of the best animation studios in Europe and beyond.

"We always saw Star Wars: Visions as a framework for celebratory expressions of the franchise from some of the best creators working today", says the executive producer James Waugh. "Animation is in a global renaissance, and we're constantly staggered by the amount of creativity pushing the medium forward. With volume two, we expanded our canvas to take audiences on a global tour of some of the most talented creators from around the world."
Joining Waugh to produce the new season are also Jacqui Lopez and Josh Rimes.
The second season of Star Wars: Visions will be available on Disney+ from May 4, 2023, the iconic date for Star Wars fans.
