Trailer for the Norwegian-Belgian animated feature Titina

We have often talked about the feature film Titina, the story of an epic journey, two dreamers and a little dog. Watch the international trailer below.

Based on real events, the film tells the story of a 1920s airship expedition to the North Pole. On board the ship are the Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen and the Italian aviator Umberto Nobile, as well as the latter's dog, Titina, with her mute but expressive presence.

The film directed by Kajsa Næss and written by Per Schreiner, the first production of the Oslo studios Mikrofilm (winners of an Oscar for the short film The Danish Poet) and co-produced by the Belgians of Vivi Film, was completed last October.

Premiering at the Fredrikstad Animation Festival and hitting Norwegian theaters in late October, it was met with rave reviews and critics: "a future classic", "a triumph", "a feast", acclaimed among the best family films in Norway.

In international territory it was shown at Animation Is Film organized in Los Angeles by GKids, Annecy and Variety, where director Næss and producer Tonje Skar Reiersen met a lot enthusiasm for their film.

After other festivals Titina will also arrive in European theaters in 2023, starting in Iceland in January, in France in February and after Spring in Belgium, Italy, Poland and Germany.
