The Rose of Versailles (Lady Oscar) returns with a new anime film

The well-know manga (before) and anime (after) of the 70s is ready to return with a new film of which you will find the first information and a teaser below.

Lady Oscar (in Japan Berusaiyu no bara) is a manga know also with the title The Roses of Versailles, the work of the author Riyoko Ikeda published from May 1972 to December 1973 by the publisher Shueisha.

The animated transposition directed to small television screens consists of 40 episodes (plus a final extra) produced by TMS in 1979, anime directed by Tadao Nagahama and Osamu Dezaki.

For the new anime film Rose of Versailles (Versailles no Bara) a website has just opened but there is no further information.
