Star Trek: Lower Decks - trailer of the season 3 coming in August

Directly from the announcements of the Comic-Con Int. in San Diego, Paramount unveiled the trailer and date of the new season of Star Trek: Lower Decks.

Set in the universe created by Gene Roddenberry, the animated series starring the workers of the "lower decks" of the U.S.S. Cerritos is ready to return with a new season.

Set in the year 2380, the series is developed by Emmy Award winner Mike McMahan (Rick and Morty) and produced by CBS Eye Animation Productions, the broadcaster's new division American.

With Captain Freeman (Dawnn Lewis) on trial following the Season 2 finale, Mariner (Tawny Newsome), Tendi (Noël Wells), Boimler (Jack Quaid), and Rutherford (Eugene Cordero) are in for a host of new adventures--including a trip to Deep Space 9.

The new season is expected on the Paramount+ platform from August 25.
