Perlimps - The war in the rainforest

An interesting animated feature from Brazil is titled Perlimps, presented at the latest Annecy Festival. Below the international trailer.

Perlimps is the latest work by author and director Alé Abreu, Oscar-nominated for The Boy and the World, produced by Buriti Filmes and Laís Bodanzky, screened out of competition at the well-known French festival.

Set in the vibrant and colorful rainforest, the protagonists of the story are Claé and Bruô, secret agents of the Kingdom of the Sun and the Kingdom of the Moon, always enemies, sent to a world controlled by Giants in the imminence of a terrible war. The two will have to overcome their differences and join forces to find the Perlimps, mysterious creatures able to find the
way to peace.

The film has already been completed and is looking for international distributors.
