Scavengers Reign - HBO Max's new adult sci-fi animated series

In recent days at the Annecy Festival was presented a new and interesting animated series for adults of which we show you the first animations below.

Scavengers Reign is the title of the new drama-sci-fi genre series dedicated to an adult audience created by animators, screenwriters and directors Joe Bennett and Charles Huettner , produced by Green Street Pictures and HBO Max and with animations by American studios Titmouse (Big Mouth, Star Trek Lower Decks).

The story will introduce us to the surviving crew of a damaged freighter in deep space that gets stranded on a beautiful, but merciless planet. The crew will begin to know the true nature of this planet, while trying to survive long enough to be able to escape, or be saved.

Based on the short film Scavengers by the same authors, which premiered in Adult Swim Toonami block in December 2016, the series is expected to be available in 2023.
