The Pharaoh, the Savage and the Princess is the new film by Ocelot
The brilliant French director Michel Ocelot ( Kirikù, Azur and Asmar) is ready to return with a new film. Below the first images.
Ocelot returns four years later Dilili à Paris with Le Pharaon, le Sauvage et la Princesse (original title), a new feature film he wrote and directed, and produced by Nord-Ouest Films, Studio O and Artémis Productions.
The film will show us 3 tales, 3 eras, 3 universes: a colorful fantasy of ancient Egypt, a legend of the Middle Ages, an "18th century Turkey" to tell stories of forbidden marriages and encounters, the conquest of Egypt, princes and princesses, prisoners and looters, of injustices and deeds in favor of the oppressed, of feelings and irony... all this in a fireworks display of colors and emotions.
The director, we recall, will be awarded the Honorary Cristal Award at the next Festival of Annecy [news].
