Oscar 2022: No surprises - Disney triumphs again

Encanto, the new film from the Disney studios, triumphs in the evening dedicated to world-famous American cinema awards.

The animated feature film most voted by the large jury of the Academy Awards (composed mainly of all the winners of any sector of previous years that, therefore, view the works and vote for them) is Encanto [news].

The five included only one work outside the US, Flee [news], an award-winning film by Jonas Poher Rasmussen (Denmark, France, Sweden, Norway), an animated documentary that certainly would not have conquered families unlike the winning film or the other candidates: Luca [news] (Disney/Pixar), The Mitchells vs. the Machines [news] (Sony Pictures Imageworks, Sony Pictures Animation) and Raya and the Last Dragon [news] (Disney).

Best Animated Short Film is The Windshield Wiper by Alberto Mielgo and Leo Sanchez, a short of which we show you the trailer below:
