Touken Ranbu's Swordsmen return with a trilogy of anime films

The official site of the new anime trilogy Toku Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru - Setsugetsuka presents the trailer and a poster. All the information below.

Inspired by the video game of the same name released in Japan in 2015 and after animated series, live-action films and spin-offs, now it is the turn of a trilogy of anime directed to the cinema.

The first film is titled "Yuki no Maki" (Snow Story) and will hit Japanese theaters on May 20th. The second film "Tsuki no Maki" (Moon Story) on July 8. The third film "Hana no Maki" (Flower Story) on September 1st. All films will have different directors, respectively Takashi Naoya (director of the series Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru), Tomoaki Koshida (Zoku Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru) and Sumie Noro.

At the production we find Doga Kobo (studios of the anime series). Author of the script for the first film is Yuki Nekota (author of the second season of the anime) as well as returning in the role of character designer Junichiro Taniguchi.
