First animations of the new anime Tekken: Bloodline

One of the best known video games in the beat 'em up genre is certainly Tekken. To celebrate its 25th anniversary, a new anime series arrives.

Set in the universe of the legendary Japanese fighting game Tekken 3, the anime series is created with CG animations with cel shading filter, for a final 2D-like effect. The names of the staff were not disclosed but it should be an American production (or co-production), as the tag states on the official page shows: "US TV Show" (used for series like DOTA: Dragon's Blood, Blood of Zeus and Castlevania).

Official synopsis: "Power is everything." Jin Kazama learned the family self-defense arts, Kazama-Style Traditional Martial Arts, from his mother at an early age. Even so, he was powerless when a monstrous evil suddenly appeared, destroying everything dear to him, changing his life forever. Angry at himself for being unable to stop it, Jin vowed revenge and sought absolute power to exact it. His quest will lead to the ultimate battle on a global stage - The King of Iron Fist Tournament.

Expected in 2022 exclusively for Netflix, here are the first animations and a poster:
