Linklater's return: Apollo 10 1/2: A Space Age Childhood

Finally, the first images and the release date of the new feature film by Richard Linklater titled Apollo 10 1/2: A Space Age Childhood have arrived.

A coming-of-age story... in the way only Richard Linklater could tell it.
Inspired by the life of the same author and director, Apollo 10 1/2: A Space Age Childhood takes us to the Moon but from Houston, Texas, back in time during the space race of the years '60. The protagonist is a man who remembers his childhood when, at 10, he was experiencing that historical moment mixed with the fantasies of a fantastic journey.

Written and directed by Linklater and produced by Minnow Mountain, Submarine, Detour Filmproduction, Netflix Animation and Soundcrafter, the work is made with the rotoscoping technique, of which Linklater he is a pioneer, with live-action shooting transformed into animations. Among the protagonists are Glen Powell, Zachary Levi, Milo Coy, Lee Eddy, Bill Wise, Josh Wiggins, Jennifer Griffin, Jack Black and many more.

The film is produced by Netflix and will be available on the worldwide streaming platform from April 1st.
