Film's clip of the anime Blue Thermal Glider Club

Tomorrow arrives in Japanese theaters the new anime Blue Thermal Glider Club of which we show you a film's clip and the trailer below.

Based on the manga of the same name by Kana Ozawa, Blue Thermal Glider Club (orig. Blue Thermal -Aonagi Daigaku Taiiku-kai Kōkū-bu-) is centered on Tamaki Tsuru, who has been a part of sports teams all her school life all the way through high school, but once she gets to college her research is instead focused on finding a romantic relationship. However, a turn of events for her puts her on the path to joining the glider club at her university.

The manga was serialized from 2014 to 2017 with a prequel released a few years later. The story also inspired a VR short (Blue Thermal VR -Hajimari no Sora-) released in 2018.

The film is directed by Masaki Tachibana (Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, Barakamon, Princess Principal) at the Telecom Animation Film studios and co-written by himself alongside Natsuko Takahashi (Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, My Love Story !!, Farewell, My Dear Cramer). The prestigious distributor Toei will bring it to Japanese theaters starting tomorrow March 4th.
