Odd Taxi: In the Woods anime trailer - from series to film

Often successful anime series are also re-assembled to compose a film that sums up the whole story and, perhaps, add a few extras. This is the case with Odd Taxi: In the Woods.

The film is therefore a sort of reconstruction/summary of the television series consisting of 13 episodes entitled Odd Taxi broadcast on Crunchyroll last spring.

The original series, which we told you about in this page, stars a very eccentric, unattached 31-year-old taxi driver who loves to converse with his customers, each different and each with their own worries, dreams and so on. All these conversations will lead him to a long missing girl.

Featuring animations produced by OLM and P.I.C.S. studios, the film sees the return of the entire cast of the series, with screenplay by manga creator Kazuya Konomoto and the direction of Baku Kinoshita, and will also feature unreleased scenes.

The film will hit Japanese theaters on April 1st and than on Crunchyroll to all its subscribers around the world.
