The holiday classic Home Alone in anime
On Christmas day, let's relax with a nice short film that we offer in our Animeshort section. This is the anime version of the classic Home Alone.
The 1990 film written by John Hughes and directed by Chris Columbus, starring a very young Macaulay Culkin, as well as Joe Pesci , Catherine O'Hara and many others, is considered a must-see classic under the holiday season.
The talented artists of Brooklyn-based indie studios Cartuna, founded in 2015, have imagined the main part of the story in an anime version, with everything related to it, from martial arts to improbable effects and actions. .
An approximately seven minute short film presented with the line "It’s his house. He had to defend it.", simply titled Kevin, written by James Belfer, Max Benator and Mike Flavin and made by a team of 20 people including animators and artists.
