One Piece Film Red - The stories of the famous pirates turn red

New anime and new and mysterious characters await Captain Monkey D. Luffy (Straw Hat) and his crew in 2022. Below infos and the first teaser.

Created and produced by the father of the characters, Eiichiro Oda, the feature film One Piece Film: Red will feature a new and mysterious character, Red, wearing a pair of headphones and singing to the sky.

Produced by Toei Animation, the film will have an original story written by Oda himself and scripted by Tsutomu Kuroiwa, directed by Goro Taniguchi (Code Geass series).

Little is still known about the story as the teaser shows us some musical lines, the new character and a disturbing question regarding his "voice", as well as the one who inspired Straw Hat: Shanks, the red-haired pirate and his mysterious scars on one eye.

The film will hit Japanese theaters on August 6, 2022.
