First animations for Skydance Animation' short film Blush

Will be available in a couple of days the animated short film Blush, made by Skydance Animation. Below the trailer.

Madrid base studios Ilion Animation, then acquired by Skydance [news] and renamed Skydance Animation, present a new project: the animated short Blush.

The story follows the journey of a stranded horticulturist-astronaut’s chances for survival after he crash lands on a desolate dwarf planet. When an ethereal visitor arrives, the once-lone traveler discovers the joy in building a new life and realizes the universe has delivered astonishing salvation.

Written and directed by Joe Mateo, Disney Animation veteran, author of Prep & Landing, Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice and Meet the Robinsons, the short is produced by Heather Schmidt Feng Yanu, with John Lasseter as executive producer.

Co-produced by Apple Original Films, the short will be available from October 1st in all markets reached by Apple TV+ streaming service.
