A lost Doctor Who story returns in animated version

We will also see in an animated version the most famous doctor of his majesty's small screens (but known all over the world): Doctor Who. Below the trailer of the episode-event.

It is titled The Evil of the Daleks and this particular episode will arrive in the home version, the season finale of the fourth season aired on small British screens in 1967, divided into seven parts.

These BBC-owned materials were stored on magnetic tapes that were lost from 1967 to 1978 due to the destruction of the media or its wear after reuse. The only tracks that have withstood the test of time were the audio ones and on these it was possible to reconstruct all seven episodes using animation.

In The Evil of the Daleks the Doctor (Patrick Troughton, the Second Doctor and fourth interpreter of the character) is alongside his traveling companion Jamie (Frazer Hines) and the two are busy trying to find the stolen Tardis, thus finding themselves grappling with the Daleks who have a new plan to conquer the universe. The Daleks oblige the Doctor to help them in their mission to "humanize" thus becoming even more deadly weapons.

Available in DVD, Blu-Ray and Steelbook versions from September 27, here are trailers and posters:
