Warner Bros. presents the 2nd animated film of Mortal Kombat Legends
Following the first animated film of 2019, the Warner Bros. studios are announcing the sequel: Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms. Below the trailer.
Following the story of the first film [news], the story is soon told by the trailer that we propose: Shao Kahn's invasion compromises the Mortal Kombat tournament which it will determine the fate of all kingdoms. But some great fighters like Stryker, Reiko, D'Vorah, Kintaro, Jade, Sektor and Cyrax, will try to counter him.
Joel McHale and Jennifer Carpenter will reprise their starring roles as Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade respectively. Most of the other characters who weren't brutally slaughtered will also return. Jordan Rodrigues (Liu Kang), Patrick Seitz (Scorpion), Artt Butler (Shang Tsung), Downes (Shinnok), Dave B. Mitchell (Raiden), Ikè Amadi (Jax), Gray Griffin (Kitana) and Fred Tatasciore (Shao Kahn) should be recognizable to those who have seen the previous film. However, Butler will also play Cyrax, Downes will voice Reiko, Mitchell will play Kintaro and Sektor and Griffin will be behind the popular Tarkatan and Edenian hybrid, Mileena.
The film, made primarily with two-dimensional animations like all Warner Bros. Animation films, will be released in the US on August 31st in both physical and digital versions.
