First trailer for Locksmith's Ron's Gone Wrong
The animated film that comes from the UK and is titled Ron's Gone Wrong comes with the first trailer. You can find it immediately below.
Ron's Gone Wrong if the animated comedies produced by young Locksmith Animation, London based studios founded by Sarah Smith and Julie Lockhart.
The film is directed by Sarah Smith (Arthur Christmas) together with Jean-Philippe Vine and Octavio E. Rodriguez, with the story written by the director herself together with Peter Baynham, while the co-founder of Lockhart studios produces it together with Elisabeth Murdoch (daughter of Rupert).
Featuring animations produced by the Double Negative (aka DNEG, expert animation and special effects studios), this is the only title produced by 20th Century Fox to be part of the acquisition agreement by Disney which will take him to theaters around the world with his brand.
Future Locksmith Animation films will instead be distributed by Warner Bros.
Ron's Gone Wrong is the story of Barney, a socially awkward middle-schooler and Ron, his new walking, talking, digitally-connected device, which is supposed to be his "Best Friend out of the Box". Ron's hilarious malfunctions, set against the backdrop of the social media age, launch them into an action-packed journey in which boy and robot come to terms with the wonderful messiness of true friendship.
