Shikizakura - a future of monsters and battles in the new anime

A new anime out this fall titled Shikizakura takes us to a near future battle against monsters.

The story is set in the Tokai region of Japan in the near future with a society that has to fight dangerous monsters.

The anime is directed by Shin'ya Sugai (Walking Meat) at the young Sublimation studios (Love Live! Sunshine!!, Ghost in the Shell Arise), produced by Tomoyasu Nishimura, featuring characters design by Ryoga Inoue, and character animations by Manabu Nakatake. Author of the music and director of sound is Takumi Saitou.

The 12 episodes series of 30min. each will air next October in Japan.
