First trailer of the new Studio 4�C anime Nikuko of the Fishing Harbor

At the beginning of the year we presented the new anime from the well-known Japanese animation studio Studio 4�C. Below we show you the first trailer.

Nikuko of the Fishing Harbor (original Gyoko no Nikuko-san) is based on the novel of the same name by Kanako Nishi. The director of the film is Ayumu Watanabe (Children of the Sea), author of the screenplay is Satomi Ooshima, and character design author and chief animation director Kenichi Konishi (Children of the Sea).

The original story was published in 2014 and sold around 350,000 copies. The main characters are a mother and daughter who live together on a boat. The story explores their lives and personal growths.

The trailer also reveals the film's opening and closing musical themes, respectively "Image no Uta" sung by the very young Kurumi Inagaki (10 years old) and "Taketen" by GReeeeN.
