Trailer of the anime She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man
A new light novel becomes an anime. Funimation has just revealed that it is co-producing the anime adaptation of Hirotsugu Ryusen's Kenja no Deshi or Nanoru Kenja.
The international title is She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man, which will be released later this year exclusively on Funimation.
The story follows Sakimori Kagami, a young man who spent four years perfecting his avatar in the online video game Arch Earth Online. Called Dunbalf, he is known throughout this virtual world. But one night before bed, Kagami uses an in-game vanity case that's about to expire, choosing to create her ideal version of a Dunbalf female avatar for fun. Upon awakening, he is surprised to find out what time it is in the body of the avatar he created the night before, and he will have to work his way from the bottom up! So he's a young boy, who plays an old man, who now plays a young girl, who is still that old boy.
Featuring Studio A-Cat animations, the anime is directed by Keitaro Motonaga, the script is supervised by Takamitsu Kouno, the characters drawn by Kumi Horii, the music composed by Go Sakabe and sound director Yasunori Ebina.
