Odd Taxi - car conversations in a new anime

One of the anime of the new spring season is titled Odd Taxi and takes us into the microcosm of car encounters with anthropomorphic animal protagonists.

The story follows Kotogawa, an eccentric, reticent 41-year-old taxi driver who has no relatives and does not have much to do with others. He does have conversations with his customers, including a college student who wants to go viral, a nurse hiding a secret, an unsuccessful comedian, a street rough, and an up-and-coming idol. These conversations lead him to a girl who has disappeared.

The anime is written by manga author Kadzuya Konomoto, directed by Baku Kinoshita, also author of the character design along with Hiromi Nakayama and the rapper and DJ PUNPEE author of the music. A series produced by P.I.C.S. and OLM.

Expected in Japan on April 6, it will be released in the West on Crunchyroll.
