Star Trek: Lower Decks - in January on Prime Video

The animated comedy series produced by CBS and titled Star Trek: Lower Decks will arrive exclusively (outside the States) on Prime Video. Below info and trailer.

Developed by Emmy Award winner Mike McMahan (Rick and Morty) and produced by CBS Eye Animation Productions, a new division of the US broadcaster, the series will take us back to the world created by Gene Roddenberry by introducing new characters of the lower decks of a spaceship and their amusing adventures.

Star Trek: Lower Decks focuses on the support crew serving on one of Starfleet's least important ships, the U.S.S. Cerritos, in 2380. Ensigns Mariner, Boimler, Rutherford and Tendi have to keep up with their duties and their social lives, often while the ship is being rocked by a multitude of sci-fi anomalies.

After the home preview, last August, all 10 episodes of the first season will arrive in all the countries reached by the Prime Video service starting from January 22, 2021.
