The biopic Josep is the best European Animated Feature Film of 2020
Saturday in Germany were presented the European Film Awards, which also features a section dedicated to animation industry.
Awarded Best European Animated Film 2020 is the biopic Josep, which triumphed over Calamity, A Childhood Of Martha Jane Cannary, Klaus, The Nose Or The Conspiracy Of Mavericks for which you can see trailers and information at this link.
Joseph, directed by Aurel (the artist Aurelien Froment) is a co-production between French, Belgian and Spanish studios that has the protagonist is a dying gendarme who remembers his encounter with the Catalan artist Josep Bartoli in a French concentration camp after the Spanish civil war.
Film is also the winner of the Audience Award and Best Screenplay at the Athens Film Festival.
