Dragon's Dogma - from video game to the anime on Netflix

Netflix and Capcom are the two big names behind this new anime series that will arrive in a few weeks on the well-known streaming service. The name is Dragon's Dogma and below you find the official trailer.

After losing his home to a dragon, Ethan sets out to hunt it down once and for all. A pawn appears by his side and serves to protect his life. But the dangers that lie in wait for Ethan are beyond their imaginations, for when you fight a monster... you just may become one too.

The original 2012 video game was developed by the same staff who had worked on previous Capcom franchises such as Resident Evil, Devil May Cry.

The anime series is produced by the Japanese studios CG Sublimation, directed by Shinya Sugai and featuring the character design of Iku Nishimura, using mainly computer animation graphics (studio specialty) filtered for a 2D-like effect.

Netflix has announced the availability of the first season from September 17th. Here the trailer:
