Trailer for the anime Kimi wa Kanata - You Are Beyond

A new fantasy-adolescent anime genre is shown with a first trailer. It's title Kimi wa Kanata (You Are Beyond) and we'll show you immediately below along with the poster.

The story is set in Ikebukuro, a district of Tokyo, starring two childhood friends: Mio and Shin. The first has feelings for the friend that go beyond friendship but has never been able to confess them. One day their relationship will break down due to stupid thing and, in an attempt to remedy it, Mio will remain involved in a car accident. Upon awakening, the girl will find herself in a different world.

Produced by the TOHO studios, the film is written and directed by Yoshinobu Sena, in his directorial debut. The animations are produced by Digital Network Animation studios, with CUCURI managing and developing the project.

Expected for autumn in Japan, the date of the premiere has also been announced with the first video: November 27.
