Scoob! will skip theaters and goes directly digital

Warner Bros. surrenders and skip the theatrical release of Scoob!, the first film in computer graphics animation starring the funny dog Scooby-Doo and the whole Mystery Inc band.

It is the second animated film to skip theatrical release due to worldwide coronavirus condition after DreamWorks Animation's Trolls World Tour.

"..we’re navigating new, unprecedented times which call for creative thinking and adaptability in how we distribute our content. We know fans are eager to see Scoob! and we’re delighted we can deliver this feel-good movie for families to enjoy while they’re home together", as reported by Ann Sarnoff, chair and CEO of Warner Bros. studios.

That's why the feature film directed by Tony Cervone, veteran of the studios Warner Bros. Animation, written by Matt Lieberman (author of the last The Addams Family) and written by Kelly Fremon Craig, will be available from May 15 on the main VOD (video-on-demand) platforms in the United States and Canada.
