Part 2 of the post-apocalyptic anime 7Seeds is coming

The anime series produced by Gonzo and Netflix titled 7Seeds is ready to return with the second part, in which we will follow the adventures of the groups of the survivors of the first part. Below the official trailer.

Based on the original manga Sebun Shizu, collected in 35 volumes (Tankobon) and published from 2001 to 2017, the anime is produced by studio Gonzo, under the direction of Yukio Takahashi and the character design of Youko Satou. In the second part the animations are co-produced by Studio Kai.

Mone Kamishiraishi will perform the second season's opening theme song "From the Seeds", which was composed by Glim Spanky, while Cider Girl will perform the second season's ending theme song "Synchro"

The story is set on planet Earth, after a catastrophic meteor impact that cancelled almost all living things. Some states have created bunkers, called Seed, in which children are cryogenically conserved to preserve life. They will be woken up many years later, when a computer will re-evaluate the earth.

Japan's last survivors continue to navigate the dangers of their new world and one another. But the bonds of humanity, past and present, never fade.

7Seeds - Part 2, which should have 12 episodes like the first, will premiere on March 26 on Netflix.
