Oscar 2020: No surprises - the majors always win

The Oscars 2020 were delivered yesterday evening, a ceremony that this year saw foreign cinema triumph, but not in all areas.

For the sector dedicated to animated feature films, compared to the other awards delivered around the world in the past weeks/months, the major Hollywood studios triumphed at the Academy, thanks to their presence on American floor.

We remember that these prizes are awarded by the same artists (actors, directors and others) who have won the same prizes.

This is why the outsiders Klaus and I Lost My Body take second place compared to Toy Story 4, feature film Disney/Pixar awarded with the best animated feature film of the year.

Same goes for animated short films, an area in which Sony Pictures Animation won the statuette for Hair Love by Matthew A. Cherry and Karen Rupert Toliver.
