First trailer for the anime Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045

The Asian account of the Netflix network has released the first and long trailer of the anime Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045, a new series based on the manga created by Masamune Shirow.

The new series, made entirely with CG animations by Production IG and Sola Digital Arts, has two exceptional directors at the head of the project: Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) and Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed, Apple Seed Alpha). Each director will direct a season that will count 12 episodes, with, therefore, already two seasons produced.

The story is set in 2045. After the collapse of world capitalism, the Japanese elite team "Section 9" will find itself conducting operations against cybercrime, clashing with very dangerous enemies.

The series will be presented at the next AnimeJapan in late March, while it will be available on Netflix April 2020.
