Futsal Boys - the Indoor soccer in a new anime

After the legendary anime on Captain Tsubasa, another Japanese animation studio deals with football, more specifically the "indoor soccer". The title is Futsal Boys and below we show you a promo.

Developed by the Diomedéa studio, the series is a project by Bandai Namco Arts and Bandai Namco Entertainment, with Mao Marita author of the story and a different illustrator for each high school team: Mizuki Kawashita (Koyo Academy), Utako Yukihiro (Adalbert Academy), Tanaka Marumero (Momomi High School), Ruka Urumiya/Sata/Shirano (Amanogawa Academy) and Lily Hoshino (Okazan Academy). Part of the staff Shoji Yonemura (Fairy Tail, Pokémon, Digimon Fusion) story planner and RON (FLCL Alternative, FLCL Progressive) music composer.

The story stars Haru Yamato, a Futsal fan in a historical moment in which this sport is very popular worldwide. The young man will join the Koyo Academy High School team with the aim of becoming a great player and being able to play the world cup one day. In the team he will make new friends and together they will face the teams of the other schools.

A mix-media franchise whose products will span different media, from the anime to a smartphone app to events with real players.
