Obsolete - The first animated series Bandai Namco and YouTube

A new anime made with CGI animations and produced by Bandai Namco Arts exclusively for YouTube Originals will be released next week. Below the official trailer.

The animated series Obsolete is written by Gen Urobuchi (Fate/Zero, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Psycho-Pass), directed by Hiroki Yamada and Seiichi Shirato, with the animations produced by Buemon studios.

Authors of the opening song are Skrillex and Nik Roos, while the closing song was written by Technoboys Pulcraft Green-Fund.

The story is set in an alternative future, when aliens have established contact with the earth by exchanging their technology (the ExoFrame, a mecha that can be operated via a neural connection and used for any kind of job) with limestone. The ExoFrame spread quickly, becoming an integral part of the working life of the planet, but also of the military one.

The series will be available on YouTube only for premium accounts on December 2 and for free only later.
