Mosley - Clip and Behind the Scenes
The title is Mosley, the first animated feature film co-produced between New Zealand and China. Below we show an unpublished clip and a behind the scenes with the official voice actors.
Director Kirby Atkins in an interview talked about his new work, Mosley, a film that will arrive in theaters in New Zealand, Australia and China next October 2019, a computer graphics tale created by an international team of artists with the story inspired by the personal experiences of the director himself.
The main characters are farm creatures, the Thoriphant, a father and daughter, who have always been oppressed by their masters, who discover an ancient secret that hides the true origins of their race, of intelligent animals with hands instead of hooves.
Starring John Rhys-Davies, Rhys Darby, Lucy Lawless and Temuera Morrison, with the director Atkins as Mosley and his daughter Leah Atkins as Rue (with voice recorded at seven years old).
This is the first co-production between New Zealand and Chinese studios, with creative supervision of animation director Manuel Aparicio and animation lead J. Randy Hayes.
