Second trailer of the anime Children of the Sea by Studio 4�C

A wonderful ocean voyage with its inhabitants is where it promises to bring us the new anime of the Japanese studios Studio 4�C: Children of the Sea. Below the second trailer.

The film is directed by Ayumu Watanabe, with the character design and animation direction by Kenichi Konishi (Tokyo Godfathers) and the soundtrack composed by Joe Hisaishi (Studio Ghibli composer). The story is an adaptation of Kaiju no Kodomo manga (original title) by Daisuke Igarashi.

The story talks about the two faces of the sea. What appears on the surface and the secret one, hidden in the depths. Evocative, surreal, disturbing and extraordinary will be the adventure of a girl discovering a great mystery enclosed in the oceanic depths.

Created with beautiful two-dimensional animations and CG elements, the film will hit Japanese theaters June 7.
