US trailer for the anime Okko's Inn distribuited by GKids

The Japan animation studios Madhouse presents their new film Okko's Inn, in US theaters only on April 22-23. Below the trailer with english subs.

Arrived in the Japanese theaters last September, the film is based on the the manga Wakaokami wa Shougakusei by Hiroko Reijo.

After the TV series now is the turn of a film dedicated, as the title reminds us, mainly to the character of Okko and his relatives. A comedy/science fiction genre film with young characters primarily directed at an audience of the same age.

The movie is directed by Kitaro Kousaka (Nasu: Summer in Andalusia) instead of the television anime's directors, Mitsuyuki Masuhara and Azuma Tani. The same thing for the script, written by Reiko Yoshida (The Cat Returns) instead of the anime's author Michiko Yokote, and Shunsuke Hirota is the animation director.
