In production an animated series about Karl Marx - obviously Chinese

Among the new anime serial productions that we talk everyday, its impossible not to mention a series starring the father of socialism and communism: Karl Marx, which is obviously produced for the Chinese market.

The title is The Leader, an anime-style series co-produced by Chinese Government and released by chinese video-streaming-service Bilibili.

Made with 2D animations, it will be a fictional representation of the German philosopher and politician Karl Marx revolutionary life (this year is the 200th anniversary of his birth). Seven episodes with characters like his beloved Jenny von Westphalen and his philosopher friend Friedrich Engels with whom he wrote the Communist Manifesto.

A production with which the Chinese government, historically in line with the ideas of the politician, tries to get the young generations (through animations) the ideas of the Manifesto.
