Animusic Weekend: Severed

August with a little bit of relax but always with our weekend appointment with music and animation, Animusic. Today we listen to Severed by The Decemberists.

They are an American indie/rock band, founded in Portland, Oregon, and composed of 5 artists, led by the singer/composer Colin Meloy. Actives since the 2000s, they have recorded 8 studio albums.

The last one, published last March, is titled "I'll Be Your Girl", whose track n. 3 is titled Severed, a song whose animated videoclip is directed by Morgan Gruer and produced by Kyle Cogan.
