The Grinch is meaner in the new and funny trailer
The studios Illumination is ready to fight for next christmas with a new version of a classic story by Dr. Seuss: The Grinch. Below the new international trailer.
Directed by Scott Mosier and Yarrow Cheney and produced by Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy, the 8th animated movie of the studios owned by Universal Pictures will have as its protagonist the green one who hates Christmas.
The Grinch (voice by Benedict Cumberbatch) tells the story of a cynical grumbler who decides to steal Christmas, but is eventually moved by a girl's generous Christmas spirit and changes her mind. Each year at Christmas they disrupt his tranquil solitude with their increasingly bigger, brighter and louder celebrations. When the Whos declare they are going to make Christmas three times bigger this year, the Grinch realizes there is only one way for him to gain some peace and quiet: he must steal Christmas. To do so, he decides he will pose as Santa Claus on Christmas Eve, even going so far as to trap a lackadaisical misfit reindeer to pull his sleigh.
