Italian trailer for Mary and the Witch's Flower

The first anime of the young Studio Ponoc titled Mary and the Witch's Flower will be released in Italy next month. Below the italian trailer and poster.

The features animated movie is directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi (Arrietty, Marnie Was There) and produced by Studio Ponoc, a young animation studios founded by the former Studio Ghibli producer Yoshiaki Nishimura with many former Ghibli artists.

The young protagonist of the movie is Mary, a girl who is forced to spend her summer holidays in the lonely country house of an old aunt. Here the young girl will make friends with a mysterious black kitten and then discover a whole world made of magic and strange beings.

Landed in theaters of many countries, the movie will hit Italian theaters with the title Mary e il Fiore Della Strega the next June 14, with a premiere at Future Film Festival on June 1.
